Being your best self isn’t just about ticking boxes—sometimes it’s about indulging in life’s little pleasures while still hitting your protein goals, keeping up with your busy routine, and staying within budget. Easier said than done, right? It can feel like the perfect formula is always just out of reach.
That’s why I created my Protein Cherry Chai Iced Latte—a delightful twist inspired by Starbucks’ version. It’s my go-to treat that combines the cozy flavors of chai with the refreshing zing of cherry, all with a protein-packed punch. I’m sharing the recipe below to kick-start your latte journey.
No substitutions or variations here—you’re creative enough to experiment and customize to your heart’s content. This is just the foundation. You do you!
Chai Tea Concentrate
- 10 – 12 Chai Tea Bags of choice. Here are the ones I used: Twinings Tea Bags
- 4 cups of water
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp homemade vanilla
Simmer for 10 – 15 minutes in water, strain and remove tea bags, and add remaining ingredients. Once cooled pour into jar of choice and refrigerate.
There are many ways you can use this concentrate, and I’m sure I will show you some more. My current obsession is this version.
Protein Cherry Iced Chai Tea
- 1/2 cup of Chai Tea Concentrate
- 1/2 cup of 2% milk
- 1 scoop of Plexus Protein Powder
- 2 tsp cherry syrup
- ice
Mix all ingredients in your favorite glass and enjoy. It’s a great start to a relaxing Sunday morning.
